Smart Care for Active Ageing

 

In this project, we have built a new assistive product based on the platform eAsist. We named the product Smart Care and successfully implemented it. The Smart Care service is coordinating and delivering care for the elderly.
The main aim of Smart Care solution is to improve the current way of ageing. We want to help increase self-sufficiency and independence of seniors and encourage them to stay active as long as possible.

Smart Care collects data from smartphones or special boxes or watches worn by seniors. When Smart Care detects a critical situation it sends alert to the care centre where an certified assistant, doctor or nurse take over the responsibility for the provision of assistance. Smart care can also track and analyse long-term trends and become an adviser or coach for the seniors.
